Designed as part of a renovation to a small 50m2 apartment, the owner lives on their own but wished for the ability to entertain a large group of guests during new year's and special occasions.
A mixture of CNC technology with traditional timber and metal craft is combined to make the table, coming together as a deceivingly complex yet elegantly simple piece of furniture.
We created this table with multiple modes for flexible living:
In its everyday configuration, it is a round table that sits 2 comfortably (2 legs position is less stable)
One side of the table can be expanded for a 3-legged configuration to increase table stability, such as typing on a laptop.
In party mode, the 2 leaves on either side can fold up to form a rectangular table that sits 6 or more when friends and families are over (most sturdy)
